Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose
Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel claims that a groomer taped Toto r’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.
Rachel recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Wow! My Dog mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.
Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." These cuts were so bad that they bled."
Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. Another customer captured a Snapchat video showing a dog in apparent pain, claiming that a groomer had forcefully inserted a napkin into the dog's ear.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. However, when questioned about Wow! My Dog, she quickly asserted that it animal abuse consequences was a separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
